About Us
North Star Phoenix Inc. is a local 501(c)3 started in June of 2023. We serve senior citizens and disabled in the Grangeville, Idaho community. We connect local volunteers with seniors and disabled in the community for a wide range of requests, including grocery delivery, tech assistance, small gardening projects, and more!
Most of us WANT to volunteer in our small community, but most don’t know how, or cannot commit to a scheduled timeframe.
Phoenix Helpers are volunteers that can spare some time when it works for them. By having a pool of volunteers, we can send out a needs request to many people, and the person who has time can complete it.

We’re raising money for the transportation portion of our service, to serve senior citizens and physically disabled individuals in the Grangeville community. We’re still in the beginning stages!
A 2007 Honda CRV has been donated, what a blessing! It made its first trip to Lewiston in the beginning of February.
Most recently, a 1988 Ford Econoline van with a wheelchair lift has been donated as well, but it needs some work. It needs a new muffler, some body work, insurance, training for our volunteer drivers, and sprucing up a bit. This happened faster than we anticipated, and additional funds are needed to provide this AMAZING blessing to the community. We have been turning down wheelchair ride requests… no more!
As we move forward, we are budgeting for current needs, and looking ahead trying to secure funding in the future.
